Sheffield United and VsoftCo have worked together since 2012

League One Sheffield United hosted a week of motion capture filming for VsoftCo, which focused on developing new sequences to be incorporated into the company’s Real Time rendered football game.

VsoftCo, a software developer in the global virtual sports market, also filmed new events with the club’s professional footballers to add more realism to its portfolio of virtual games. This included red cards and player injuries, which provide additional bet markets for customers.

Paul Reeves, Head of Commercial at Sheffield United Football Club, told "We have worked with VSoftCo since 2012 and look forward to expanding our relationship with them by addressing their sophisticated virtual gaming needs. Their creative and engaging games portfolio provide some of the best in virtual football gaming entertainment."

Simon Westbury, Managing Director at VSoftCo, said: “We are delighted to combine our experience as a market leader in virtual football products with Sheffield United FC, a club with a deep and rich history. It is beyond doubt that the work that we have undertaken will be of great benefit to our existing Fantastic League virtual games portfolio, as well as our branded virtual football game VStriker.

Totally Gaming says: By hosting the week of filming, Sheffield United provided the platform for VsoftCo to improve its portfolio of virtual games. The two parties have enjoyed a working relationship since 2012, and VsoftCo even sponsored the Sheffield United playing shirts during the 2013/14 season.
