A breakdown of some of the more interesting figures to emerge from the gambling industry in the past seven days

2,000,000 - Kambi announced a latest period operating profit of €2 million (£1.6m). Kambi produced excellent 2016 Q2 results with group revenues up 28% on Q2 2015. This is in no small way down to the recent launch of new betting platforms for three major clients in the form of LeoVegas, Mr.Green and Rank Group.

648,527.13 - the amount won in pounds from a £6 stake on Meccabingo.com’s Mega Jackpots Isle O Plenty game developed by IGT. Caroline Webb of Meccabingo.com said: “We’re thrilled to be giving out our biggest ever digital jackpot for over five years, and so happy for our winning player that the cash prize will allow them to do so much.”

7000 - German sports betting operator Tipbet has signed a deal with Sportradar which will see it offer the company’s 7000 live streaming events to its existing offering.

Philippos Naskos, Product Manager at Tipbet said: “We’re very happy to have found a partner like Betradar which can supply us with a portfolio of sports this big and around the clock. We are very confident that this will be a successful partnership from which both sides can benefit to the fullest. In regards to our users we are now in a position, in which we can offer a holistic service.”

66 - Burton Albion FC has signed the biggest deal in its 66 year club history with online bookmaker Tempobet. Tempobet Managing Director Mark Clayton stated: “We’re delighted to partner with Burton Albion, a progressive club who match our ambitions to challenge on the big stage.” The bookie also signed up Roberto Carlos as ambassador this month.

2 - The number of Premier League clubs with which Kenyan sports betting firm SportPesa has signed deals to become the Official Betting Partner for this week. Partnerships have been established with both Hull City and Southampton as the company looks to make a name for itself in the UK and beyond.

10,000 - The amount awarded in pounds sterling to Wealdstone FC by Marathonbet after the club was victorious in the bookie’s debut #NonLeagueChallenge campaign.

306 - The amount of events at Rio 2016 that ESSA has stated that it will monitor. The company has announced it will employ a ‘heightened level of security’ at the Games which start on August 5th. ESSA Secretary General Khalid Ali said: “ESSA and its responsible regulated members are intent on doing all we can to help the IOC to protect the world’s pinnacle multi-sport event from betting related corruption.”
