Nathan Rothschild believes his product will bring a different level of data to the market

Sports data platform provider iSport Genius has signed up Ladbrokes Australia as its first major client in a three-year deal.

iSport Genius - appearing at ICE Totally Gaming, Stand S2-150 - aims to provide an interactive customer-facing tool that converts data into sporting insights that can inform punters on their choice of bet. The solution breaks down a team’s performance across a range of filters and categories, including obscure parameters such as how a football team has previously performed in wet conditions, or how it has fared when playing two games in three days.

Ladbrokes Australia will immediately add the iSport Genius platform to its offering and is set to highlight its benefits in a new TV advertising campaign.

“We are very pleased to see our product is going live in the Australian marketplace with Ladbrokes,” said Nathan Rothschild, co-founder and partner at iSport Genius.“It adds a new dimension to sportsbook provision, particularly in terms of mobile. 

"Our data tool can handle the trillions of sports data points available and manipulate them into easily understandable and accessible analysis. This level of deep-dive data has never been available to the consumer before. 

"Until now, sports data was fragmented and lacked context. Our product provides insight in an easily navigable format that engages fans at a level they instantly understand.”

Dean Shannon, chief executive of Ladbrokes Australia, added: “We are extremely confident this product will be an enormous hit with our customers and will help make Ladbrokes the No.1 choice in the market.”

As it seeks to now grow outside of Australia, iSport Genius has strengthened its team with the appointment of former Tote Direct, Coral Eurobet, Boylesports executive Lee Richardson as its European head.

Commenting on his appointment, Richardson said: “This is a great time to be joining iSport Genius. The signing of the deal with Ladbrokes is a fabulous endorsement of the worth of the product and I can’t wait to get cracking showcasing this product in Europe.”
