Fast Bet lets operators capitalise on quick decisions

Tain's new product will be demonstrated at ICE

Tain, a Maltese based gaming software and solutions provider, has launched its latest product titled Fast Bet. This is a sports betting service which is targeted at 'punters who become bored through having to wait until half-time or full-time to see their bet settled'.

Fast Bet allows customers a high degree of personalisation with the opportunity to place wagers on whether incidents will take place within a defined period during a sporting event.

Mathias Larsson, Managing Director at Tain, told Totally Gaming about who the product is aimed at: “We definitely think that Fast Bet will appeal to millennials since it’s a short-lived product where a player makes quick decisions. It’s fun and exciting and offers something different, which is good for punters and operators. It appeals to those knowledgeable sports fans out there that want to put their expertise to the test.”

For football matches for instance markets will include whether there will be a goal, corner, free-kick, goal-kick, red card or throw-in during the period. Fast Bet is also available for other major sports. Punters simply click on an event and select the timeframe themselves which could be as little as a single minute. Tain will showcase Fast Bet at next month’s ICE Totally Gaming event in London at the ExCeL, the Tain stand will be demonstrating the product at its stand S1-342.

Larsson also responded to whether he expects live betting to overtake pre-match in football in the near future. He said: “I expect the number of players and number of bets on live markets to overtake pre-match. But when it comes to bet amount I think it will take quite some time since sports betting have a lot of professional players that only places bets on pre-event markets.”

Totally Gaming says: Fast Bet is a seemingly innovative product from the Tain team and should draw some attention at ICE this year. As Larsson notes the ability to select the time frame for next goal will entice punters if delivered smoothly and marketed well.
