The operator will use Betgenius’ automated trading tools

Betgenius hopes to play a crucial role in the growth of Codere’s sportsbook product after agreeing to become the provider of pre-match and in-play trading for the international operator.

Codere, which holds a major retail and online presence in Spain, Italy and LatAm, will be utilising Betgenius’ automated in-play and pre-match trading tools for both football and tennis markets.

Matt Stephenson, business development director at Betgenius, told TotallyGaming.com: “This deal with Codere – a prestigious operator with a global footprint – consolidates our position as the provider of the highest quality trading services in the market.

“Like Betgenius, Codere constantly strives to provide the best possible service to its customers, and we look forward to playing a crucial role in the growth of its sportsbook product.”

Peter Lucas, trading director at Codere, commented: “As we grow our presence in regulated markets across the world, we are delighted to secure a long-term relationship with Betgenius to expand our in-play and pre-match trading capabilities.

“Betgenius’ reliable and wide-ranging service was the obvious choice to help us offer the best experience possible to customers.”

Totally Gaming says: This long-term deal will see Betgenius integrate its trading portfolio across Codere Group operations in Spain, Italy and LatAm. The supplier has caught the eye of global operators for its flexible and bespoke services, which allows sportsbooks to partially or fully outsource trading function.
